Back in September we opened our beautiful new site, complete with timber shelter and eco toilet block. We welcomed our first group of excited children into the forest and alongside our Manager Stephanie and Practitioner John, they quickly made the space their own, exploring from the burn up the hill down to the willow boundary at the bottom. Learning to use our brand new eco toilets and how to get the campfire lit were exciting activities for our new Kinder Crofters.
Some beautiful autumn weather led to foraging for brambles and creative play with fallen leaves and pine cones. Exploring, playing, making, building; after a busy first month it was time for a short October break, ready for more in November...
